Starting out, or re-starting something fear is often something that we can feel a lot. ⁣

In fact, fear is what held me back for so many years…⁣
⁣

It was F E A R ⁣

Appearing ⁣
Real ⁣

Actually just false expectations that I thought were real. ⁣

It forced me to learn how to PRIORITIZE myself instead of self-loathing which made me realize how much better I was able to serve those who I love, when I felt good myself…⁣

And as a result the changes in my lifestyle allowed me to feel freer than I thought was possible previously. ⁣

As you start to take steps outside your comfort zone, you are going to feel fear rising inside you, but instead of letting your emotions overrule and stop you from taking action, confront them and identify them as FALSE expectations that appear real…but DECIDE and COMMIT anyways. ⁣

One of the most common assumptions that I get from women is that you must be doing tons of cardio to see results…⁣
⁣
Ladies, I’m dealing it to you straight today. ⁣
⁣
You do NOT need to be doing hours of cardio per week in order for you to tone up and get your dream body! ⁣
⁣
In fact, I would argue if you are training properly and being mindful of your heart rate during your lifts, you do not need to do cardio to get results…⁣
⁣
HOWEVER, ever since I learned about HIIT (High Intense Interval Training) 5 or so years ago, I’ve been hooked! ⁣
⁣
It’s not only FUN, but it’s SHORT! Lord knows I don’t like wasting my life doing cardio (#CardioHardio 😅) ⁣
⁣
In short, HIIT typically lasts no more than 25 minutes and helps maximize fat loss and minimizes muscle loss (that’s a #win if you ask me!) ⁣
⁣
Anywho, here’s a HIIT finisher that I did the other night ⁣
⁣
(If you don’t have a spin bike, or any other machine, you can replace by doing jump rope or running in place) ⁣
⁣
▪️All out on the 🚴🏼‍♀️for :40 seconds (almost flat road- up and out of the saddle)⁣
▪️Followed by a 1:00 at moderate pace (bump up resistance 2-3 turns)⁣
⁣
▪️Banded Goblet Squats (use DB or something weighted like flour bag) x 12 ⁣
⁣
▪️Banded In & Out Jump Squats x 12 ⁣
⁣
▪️Banded Straight-Legged Glute Kickbacks x 12 (each 🦵🏼 )⁣
⁣
▪️ Banded Standing leg abduction x 12 (each 🦵🏼 ) ⁣
⁣
🔄 Do this circuit 4-6 rounds ⁣
