Challenging posture = worth it
아쉬탕가 요가 수련을 하면서 도전하게 되는 동작은 항상 있지만 정말 팔이 후덜덜 하는 동작이 시작되었다. 할수 있다는 생각을 몇번이고 반복하고 최선을 다해 노력하는데 정말 정말 힘이 부족해서 어느순간 툭 하고 떨어진다 ㅠ
선생님이 오시더니 예마 It was worth it !
정말 훅 와 닿았다. 팔이 후덜덜 떨리고 호흡도 가파르고 너무 힘들지만 연습하는 동안 내 어깨와 팔과 마인드는 더 강인해지고 단단해 질테니깐.
도전하게 되는 자세가 있다면 성공과 실패의 여부보다는 연습하는 동안의 성장 과정을 지켜보는 것도 좋은 수련이 된다. 
오늘도 정말 열심히 최선을 다했다..

My weekend was spent on a party cruise with an amazing group! Had so much fun being silly, laughing and dancing. 🕺🏼The only hard part about these kind of weekends is recovering from a big hangover 🙄
I guess I’m getting old (lol) and my comfy bed tends to be too comfy so long sleeps next to my love feels too good. So good that I can’t get myself up and on to my yoga mat for the next couple of mornings after a weekend partying. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Do you enjoy a good night out or home vibes on the weekends? (I love a good party) ⚡️

And yes, I sure am doing a yoga pose on the beach 😆.

To each her own journey but don't sell yourself short.

This has got to be my favorite asana that comes in my third series practice. #viranchyasana.
I think mainly because after all those heavy arm balances and the other weird asanas, this one always seems strangely light with just the right amount of challenge for me.
There's a BIG difference between my right and left side but this accesses some deep external hip rotation so the difference is to be expected.

In all cases, hips don't lie and we are definitely not a symmetrical work of art. ;)

The lift up is the trickiest part of the game to play, and while I do have long legs, I'm also lucky to have long monkey arms that let me swing my half lotus around. It's a lot smoother on one side than the other, but with time I'm sure I'll be able to smooth them both out.

My day is super long today and I went into practice thinking I wouldnt be able to do anything, but somehow ended up doing 2nd to karanda and 3rd to viparita dandasana. 😬
Between practicing, assisting, working at the NGO now, starting a new class tonight in @myogastudiobarcelona and then teaching aerial silks until 22:00, I've got a full schedule.
Good thing tomorrow is a moon day to rest! 🌝

Vivimos en un mundo sin descanso, ni paramos en el tiempo libre. ¿Te suena?

Acabo de correr, con vistas al mar, con mucho viento, con ganas y sin prisa. No soy profesional, no gano mi dinero corriendo. Por eso lo hago a mi ritmo. Voy a correr porque me gusta. Me encanta sentir mi cuerpo, me relajo corriendo, me gusta pisar tierra y moverme. Observo el COMO lo estoy haciendo, como apoyo mi pie, como activo la musculatura de mis piernas, de mis caderas, si mantengo el pecho abierto o si lo cierro, puedo respirar sin agobiarme? No hay prisa. Es mi descanso y lo quiero disfrutar. .

Parece que cuesta dejar las prisas y entrar en otro modo. Parece que la mayoría en su deporte entrena para ganar la copa del mundo y no para dedicar un poco de su tiempo a algo que les gusta. Porque tanta tensión?

Lo mismo pasa en el yoga. Si no somos atento seguimos ahí con las mismas prisas. Queremos la relajación ya, queremos ser igual de flexible y fuerte como personas que lo practican ya hace años. Olvidamos que no es una competición. Olvidamos que podemos regalarnos un momento, moviendo el cuerpo (lo que más necesita después de un día en la oficina), dirigiendo la atención hacia nosotros mismos. Olvidamos que vivimos nuestra vida - no hay tiempo para reflexionar.

No importa a lo que te dedicas en tu tiempo libre. Lo que importa es, que no sigues compartiendo contra fantasmas, sino que empiezas a vivir.
