I would have to say that my favorite benefit of meditation is feeling like time isn’t going by so heartbreakingly fast. Before I started practicing yoga and meditation, I would often feel overwhelmed by how alarmingly fast time went. It seemed like Christmas would arrive only a few months after it ended, and garbage day felt like a lot more often than just once a week. Meditation allows you to truly slow down your mind and actually be present in the moment. For many of us (myself included) that can feel very scary and overwhelming sometimes, but it can completely transform your life. And just a friendly reminder that meditation does not have to be long and challenging and it’s always okay for the mind to drift, please don’t beat yourself up, it does for almost all of us! I’ll be covering more on meditation next week as it is such a helpful practice 💜. Have you ever tried meditation before? if you have, let me know how it went for you :)!.
