H-20 Kejuaraan Tarung Derajat Antar Mahasiswa se Jawa Barat saya mengalami cidera saat pemusatan latihan.. Ya biasa lah namanya atlet, dikira keseleo doang.. Diurut lah berkali

Sedikit cerita peristiwa menyeramkan 1 tahun yg lalu.. . . . . . H-20 Kejuaraan Tarung Derajat Antar Mahasiswa se Jawa Barat saya mengalami cidera saat pemusatan latihan.. Ya biasa lah namanya atlet, dikira keseleo doang.. Diurut lah berkali", tapi ga sembuh juga, malah bengkak nih kaki.🙈 Akhirnya saya memutuskan untuk bed rest sambil menunggu waktu pertandingan tiba. Tanpa ada latihan sama sekali, karena untuk nekuk pun sakit, kaki berasa dilock. Maasyaa Allah nikmatnyaa.. Hari yg dinanti" tiba, cidera ini sukses membuat saya kehilangan BB 8kg hanya dalam 20 hari. Amazing😂 Jujur tanding pun ga PD karena kefikiran kaki yg nyeri, ngilu, dan oglek" gitu.. Tapi namanya anak bangor mah tetep aja maksakeun tanding.. Babak penyisihan, semi final alhamdulillah bisa dilalui meskipun harus nyungseb berkali". Syukur alhamdulillah saya lolos ke babak final.. Dan ini ending dari perjuangan saya bertanding dengan cidera ACL di kaki kiri..😂 . . . Beberapa dokter yg bertemu dengan saya kaget, bahwa saya masih bisa melaju ke babak final dengan cidera ACL ini. The more your foot has to work, the stronger it gets. The foot adapts to the demands placed on it over time. This is simply the S.A.I.D. Principle at work (specific adaptation to imposed demands).

This research paper indicates that simply walking around in minimalist shoes for 8 weeks and not changing anything in your regular routine was just as effective as an 8-week foot specific strengthening protocol in terms of muscle strength and size improvements.

Less is more when it comes to foot strength and function. Allowing the feet to work like they are supposed to work during everyday activities, movements, walking etc. is a great way to improve foot function.
👞 The average shoe often impedes the foots ability to work like it should. Arch support, orthotics, rigidity, a narrow toe box, excess cushion, built up heels...these are all factors that contribute to this.

Minimalist shoes = closer to barefoot. The less support the shoe gives you, the more support your arch must give you. The arch is a robust structure that is supported by multiple layers of intrinsic muscle, fascia, and extrinsic muscle. Forcing your foot to work more strengthens all of the supporting musculature, as demonstrated in this study.

Simple is better. Restoring someone’s ability to walk around and spend more time barefoot (or close to it using minimalist shoes) is a great way to help encourage and build foot strength.

I was feeling really unhappy and down on myself at the time because I had put on some extra weight after my second daughter was born. I knew I had to do something about it and that’s when I joined inspire. It has been absolutely amazing being on this journey for the last few months, the classes have been tough but so good and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it! Meeting lovely ladies being outside in the fresh air is all the things I have looked forward to in addition to the classes! I’ve dropped a whole dress size I’m 10kg down and couldn’t be happier! I’ve still got a bit of a way to go so looking forward to the new year to smash the new goals! A big plus is also see my girls play outside and have fun playing with other children while I exercise! thank you Timea for everything you have done!"
