I'm sure most of you recognize our hospice foster boy, Cloud, but we would like to take a moment to recognize a very special person in Cloud's life.
When Cloud came to us last year, it immediately became clear that he had several very serious issues, even aside from his terminal heart condition. Cloud was experiencing obsessive light and shadow chasing, as well as severe separation anxiety. Cloud's anxiety was so bad that he was harming himself and would attempt to escape through closed windows and glass doors. He would experience a full panic attack if left alone for any amount of time.
Enter Cloud's savior, Jane Wolff of @goodwolfftraining . Jane is a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT), and donated hours and hours of her time to help Cloud overcome his anxiety. Jane (in Michigan) worked remotely with Amanda (in Maryland) to develop a detailed training plan. Over time, Cloud learned not only to be alone, but to do so as if it's no big deal.
Cloud's separation anxiety is no longer an issue, because it's gone. Cloud can be left alone for any amount of time, and sleeps quietly and stress free until Amanda returns home.
We cannot thank Jane enough for donating her time and services to Cloud. We have worked so hard to make the best of what's left of his life, and ridding him of his fear and anxiety was a massive part of that.
Separation Anxiety is a very real, very scary panic disorder. If your dog is experiencing Separation Anxiety, please consider reaching out to Good Wolff. This training can be done remotely from anywhere in the world. And trust us, it works. You can take Cloud's word for it. ♥️ ...
I kissed a Sphinx and I liked it 😘✨ .
I mean come on, can you really visit Giza and not kiss the Sphinx? I mean it’s only one of the largest monuments in the world and has successfully guarded the Great Pyramids for thousands of years. This protective energy was hard not to feel. .
