Then society happened. We’re told we need to grow up. We’re told we’re not enough. We’re told we need to accomplish, validate, please. In other words, we shed who we authentically are. Little by little, we’re stripped of ourselves. We blindly trust and believe our culture, and define success based on their terms.

We get lost in it. The idea of “becoming” something becomes more appealing than the “unfolding” of who we really are. We’ve pivoted to look outwards for validation, when we need to be looking inwards.
