When it comes to milk here’s what you need to know! If you can tolerate cows milk and enjoy it then this is by far the most nutrient dense option. It’s also an excellent source of the BCAA leucine which helps to rebuild and repair muscle tissue. (Very important if you’re trying to lose weight or maintain your weight loss efforts) Opt for one with moderate fat levels as this will also help to improve satiety and give you a boost of fat soluble vitamins.💁‍♀️

In terms of plant based milk SOY MILK is by far the superior option. It is also a complete protein source (unlike other plant milks) and contains quite good levels of muscle building leucine. Buy one which is unsweetened, high in protein and calcium fortified. The less ingredients and the higher percentage of whole soy beans the better.

Almond, coconut, oat, rice etc are mostly water (most are also low protein and calcium and high in added sugar) so you’re better off making your own or investing in the Whole Foods items and eating more of them.

The warmer weather has me craving all the smoothies (even though I’ll still have these when it’s freezing😅) & this carrot cake smoothie has been a favorite of mine recently🥕I shared in my stories how I made it but here’s what ya need👇🏻 happy first day of spring!🌸

1 large carrot
1/2 frozen banana 
1 cup nut milk (less if you want it thicker)
1 scoop collagen peptides 
1 scoop vanilla protein powder 
1 tbsp ground flaxseed
1/2-1 tbsp almond butter
lots of cinnamon & a dash of nutmeg
optional to add in some greens🌿
a couple ice cubes & blend💃🏻
topped mine off with a little shredded coconut, flaxseed, slivered almonds & blueberries 🤗.

Keto Turkey + Cheese Cucumber Rolls

What Makes the Difference Between People Who Succeed and Fail on the Keto Diet… (Link in the bio 👆)

Ingredients

1 ripe avocado, pitted
1 fresh garlic clove, pressed
2 tsp. fresh lime juice
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 large cucumbers, ends removed
6-8 slices nitrate free turkey or ham
6-8 very thin slices all-natural high quality cheese
fresh chopped parsley
Instructions

In a small bowl, mash the avocado with a fork.
Add minced garlic and fresh lime juice.
Season with sea salt and pepper, to taste. Mix until well combined.
Using a peeler or mandolin, slice the cucumber into equally thin strips.
Place about 12 cucumber strips next to each other, on a flat surface, such as a cutting board.
Spread 4 Tbsps of mashed avocado evenly over the slices.
Then add slices of ham and cheese.
Starting at one end, tightly roll all of the cucumber slices into one long

INGREDIENTS:
Ingredients for Pan Seared Salmon:

1 lb salmon boneless, skinless (preferably wild-caught)
1 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

1 large head of romaine lettuce chopped, rinsed and spun dry
2 ears of corn cooked, shucked and cut off the cob
1/2 medium red onion thinly sliced

Spargel in Stücke schneiden und bissfest garen. Den Halloumi schneiden, mit etwas Salz uns Chili würzen und dann in einer Pfanne anbraten. Zwiebel in Ringe schneiden und das ganze mit Olivenöl und mit dem Saft einer halben Orange (oder statdessen weißem Balsamico) anrichten.
