Happy Tuesday! This post was shared with me a little while ago and I wanted to #repost it on here. Every time I meet a new couple planning for their wedding day, the first thing I say to them is “your imperfect wedding day will be perfect” - meaning that things will be close to perfect, not completely perfect and that it’s okay! It is important to understand that your special day is as special as you make it. It’s about the details, however, it’s not about forcing things that are out of your control. It’s about being in the moment, making the best of the situation and making memories with a smile on your face! This couples caption below summarizes this thought so perfectly!! .

Everything you could have imagined went wrong at our reception. Our MC cancelled on us, our DJ was a no show because he ditched our wedding for another on the same day (shout out to @djamanm for holding it down), our entrance video played AFTER our entrance, the ice machine during our slow dance soaked mine and Tavneet’s outfits, the lights were off during our performance, and kiran’s left eye contact lense fell out midway through the night. Shit happens. In the chaos and stress of securing wedding vendors and pinning down every last detail, we forget what’s really important - you and your soulmate. This beautiful life journey you have embarked on together. The promises you’ve made to one another. Your love.
To all the beautiful couples out there getting married this year, next year or whenever, don’t let these details take away from your day. Live in the moment, every second is precious. Celebrate your love, everything else is just noise.
Because horses will ALWAYS be my thang! Whether they're the real life beauties, metal art sculptures in the middle of the desert, or the cute, fuzzy stuffed animals that decorate my room! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
So tell me...what's YOUR favorite animal?!
