In the movie, #EfraimDiveroli (@jonahhill) becomes angry at an employee who criticizes the letters in the name #AEY for not standing for anything. In real life, the initials do mean something. The company had at first been a shell company started by Efraim's father. The letters in the name are the initials of his children, Aaron, Avigail, Avrohom, Efraim and Yeshaya. / @miaminewtimes

"How much sorrow can I take."- Fav line This is a special movie..the one which is impossible to get over with. Casts an unbreakable spell on anyone who watches it. The acute observations of desire and the story shot from Elio's point of view is agonizingly heartbreaking but beautiful in a very breathtaking manner. _ Movie- Call me by your name _ _ #callmebyyourname #cmbyn #mysteryoflove #visionsofgideon #timotheechalamet #timoth éechalamet #timmy #oliver #elio #elioandoliver #armiehammer #italy #crema #moviegeek #moviequotes #movielover #moviequotes #ladybird #lucaguadagnino #callmebyyournameedit #callmebyyournamebook #thegoodquotes #thegoodquote #lovequotes #lovestory #love #inspiringquotes ...

Movie review for The Aftermath

Okay so, I’m actually quite amazed. This film has a fuck load of criticism. I came out of the theatre happy that I’d seen a good film, then I look online and it’s got 28% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 43 Metascore. I’ll be straight with you guys right now... even I don’t know why I liked this film. There’s not too much that makes it a unique period drama to the general viewer, but for me, I found a lot to love. Completely get why someone wouldn’t be a fan though. But 28%? Fuckin’ hell, cmon. Then again a 75% audience score so critics ain’t everything. Yeah so that’s good though, faith restored in Keira Knightley after Colette. I’m honestly surprised now cause looking at it, Colette is a more unique film stylistically but it just isn’t executed well in my opinion and has the most dull and basic structure. I guess sometimes I just prefer when these more conventional styles are at least done well. I think that’s the case with The Aftermath. It’s not very new but it’s very well made and (in my opinion) very entertaining. Keira Knightley is great here, she had some genuinely very touching and emotional moments that I have to say, got to me. One scene in particular had me really feeling for her character and on the brink of tears. I thought she was great here. Glad I can say she’s still a good actress. Jason Clarke I never really like. I only see him in roles where he’s really uninteresting or just playing a shit character. But surprisingly I really got on board with him in this. It’s probably the best I’ve seen from him. He’s really good even though his character is on the sidelines a lot. You get to see a lot of reasons for him being so isolated toward the end and it made the character more understandable for me. Alexander Skarsgard was great too, his character was explored well enough for you to see his point of view as well, which I like. There’s enough time needed dedicated to each character, I think it’s quite well balanced. I just think this film is a really good drama. It may have the unfortunate characteristic of being a “period drama” but it’s a lot more than that. (CONTINUED IN COMMENTS).

John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum is #2019 Action Movie and the 3rd film in the Franchise.
This one takes place literally 10 minutes after the 2nd and in it, John becomes ex-communicated by the High Table and has a 14 million dollar bounty on his head. Now He must do what ever it takes to avoid death, and find away to get his name off the hit list.
So im a fan of the series, i wont say im a huge fan, and I don't generally like most modern action movies, they are mostly too stupid for me. I think this Franchise just has a decent balance and carries it self well, by no means am i calling these smart movies but they have great action and flow well.
The Writing was fine, this movie definitely has the most story, world building and character development of all three, and i appreciate that, i really do. But my god does this movie draggggggg because of it. This one also has probably the best jokes and best new characters. But what it does well technically it loses in its action. Im really not a fan of the hand to hand combat, its not awful but Keanu moves so slowly compared to the other actors it doesnt flow well or feel super realistic. Also isn't he all about Gun Fu like he has 3 long and i mean longggggg, hand to hand scenes here.
Its not all bad there are a few solid action moments and one scene in particular with Halle Berry was simply amazing.
The directing was great style wise, i loved the way this movie looked, the lighting mostly in Blues and Reds looked fantastic and crisp.
The pacing however is all over the place and the tone is shaky at best.
The acting was fine, i would go as far as saying good for what this is. The cast has Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne, Mark Decascos whos was hilarious, Asia Kate Dillon, Jerome Flynn, Said Taghmaouri and Anjelica Huston.
My favourite part of this movie were the sound effects, as weird as that is, they were on point, the gun shots were so loud and sounded super realistic.
In the end this is a solid action movie, i would have just trimmed some fat here and there and tightened it up a bit. Definitely worth a watch for series and action fans but I wouldn't pay to watch this in theaters.
7.25/10.
