sundays every week for me mean loads of fresh organic leafy greens for the week🌱 my staples are always kale and spinach for juices and smoothies and then i alternate whatever is in season or catches my eye 💚 this week there was some beautiful rainbow chard (i mean LOOK AT THAT COLOUR 🌈) and parsley along with some coriander that I couldn’t fit into this little leafy spread 🍃 its so important to get a variety of leafy greens in your diet for fiber, iron, vitamin’s K, C, E and A, essential minerals, chlorophyll and and phytonutrients ⚡️these leafy veggies are honestly a nutrient powerhouse and such an important part of a BALANCED diet ☘️ if you arent into big green juices or smoothies you can chop greens up nice and small (the finer you chop them the less you’ll notice them) and add them to curries, soup 🍲 , rice dishes 🍚(kale is great in vegan fried rice style meals), stir fries, pasta 🍝 (spinach is amazing with pesto or tomato based pasta), with your morning baked beans on toast or a simple salad the options really are endless!

So next time you’re making a meal think to add some finely chopped greens and extra herbs (don’t underestimate the power of herbs!🌱) into your food to quickly and easily next level your health and increase your daily veg intake!.

I am so in love with all things summer- the weather, the extra sunlight, pool days, but most importantly: the food 🤗 Watermelon, corn on the cob, BBQ, strawberries, cherries- the list goes on 👌🏻 But there’s something about a fresh tomato that makes me think of summers at home- my stepdad has a garden that always has the best fresh tomatoes and we’d make BLTs for lunch alllllll the time! These unfortunately aren’t made with tomatoes fresh out of my garden (someday 🙌🏻💯) but still feel like summer to me ☀️ Yes I ate all 3 because it’s honestly not as much food as it looks like and each one was better than the last 😌 Hope you had a good day! 💓 -

#healthyfood details 👉🏻 Preheat oven to 500F or broil (on high). Slice a sweet potato into rounds- I always look for a sweet potato that’s huge and oversized! Holds up better as a bread substitute. If it’s too tough to slice, boil to soften or microwave. Spray a cooking sheet with oil then place the sweet potatoes on it and bake for 10-12 minutes on the bottom shelf. while they cook, line a pan with foil (or don’t if that’s not your thing) and place the bacon on it. Bake for 4-5 minutes on the bottom shelf and use a fork to turn them over and bake another 4-5 minutes until your desired crispness! Sliced some onion and tomato to add in 🙌🏻 Put it all together and devoured them 😎 #paleo #glutenfree #eatwell

The night before > The morning after featuring one of my favourites chia seed pudding.
One of my favourite ways to grab something in the fridge in the morning being productive not having to worry about cooking or relying on an external source of food.

The night before takes 5 minutes to prepare. Add all ingredients (except berries and kiwis) into a jar and shake mixing well leave to set in the fridge. Prepare the seasonal fruit either in evening or morning and presto...

Serves 1
458 calories
P 30 C 44 fibre 20 F 18
—
Ingredients:
• 4 tbsp chia seeds
• 1.5 cups dairy free milk (I use canned full coconut milk diluted with water so much cheaper then diluted store bought alternatives with pathetic coconut %s and extra non essential ingredients)
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 scoop vanilla protein (I used a quality plant based pea protein)
• a few drops of liquid stevia or 1 tsp raw honey
• mix selection of berries
• kiwi with skin on 😉

Recipe:
1. In a glass jar with secure lid. Add all ingredients except fruit.
2. Mix well shaking or with a fork.
3. Leave to set for a few hours or overnight.
4. Remove to a bowl. Add the berries to the base then layer the chia seed pudding then add another layer of fruit then more chia seed pudding on top.

Optional to add coconut milk yogurt or nut butter or nuts + seeds or more seasonal fruit etc. There’s no rules.

This is one of my go to ways to prep breakfast. It can last 2-3 days in the fridge. It costs approx £1.50 per serving if that.

Mi hija con dieciséis años  esta hecha casi una profesional de la cocina keto y paleo.

Les recomiendo esta receta riquísima y de muy rápida  elaboración  que ha preparado para el té  de la tarde.

RECETA.
🍴
Ingredientes :
2/3 T xylitol.
1/2 T mantequilla a temp.ambiente.
1 huevo.
2 c limadura de limón.
3/4 T harina almendra.
1/3 T harina coco.
1/4 c sal.
1C semillas amapola.
🍴
Procedimiento :
Precalentar horno a 180.
Batir la mantequilla con la nata y elxylitol.
Incorporar limón y huevo.
Añadir levadura y sal.
Agregar las harinas y amapola.
Hacer bolitas del tamaño de una nuez.
Colocar en fuente con papel 
de horno.
Aplastar las bolitas.
Hornear  aprox. 10 min.
Dejar enfriar bien antes de manipular.
