Breakfast today was lovely. I ran out of bananas so until we get to the market, I have been making apple sauce sweetened oatmeal instead. 🙂 Also the orange things are not tomatoes. They are gooseberries also known as golden berries. 💛
Apple Sweetened Cardamom Oatmeal
1/2 cup quick oats
1 tbsp ground flax seeds
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cardamom
1/4 cup cinnamon apple sauce
Pinch of salt
1 cup or more of almond milk 🥛
Bring all ingredients to a simmer in a sauce pan. Stir and cook until thickened to your preference. Feel free to add a little more milk if the oats are too thick (helps to make it super creamy). 🙂 ...
The classic chocolate chip cookie - can’t beat it right? 🍪
VGN, GF and SF 💫 #basic
1 tbsp chia + 3 tbsp water = 1 chia egg
1/2 cup almond butter
1/2 cup gluten free oat flour
1/4 cup @kin_nutrition Vanilla vegan protein
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 180. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Combine wet ingredients to form a dough. Fold in the flour and protein powder until well combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Scoop the mixture onto the tray and flatten. I just wanted to say that I’m so incredibly happy with the content I’ve been creating lately and I’m so glad I can genuinely say that now. I had kind of fell out of love with social media when I felt like I didn’t have a real passion for what I was doing so the fact that I’ve been able to talk more about parts of my life other than just food on here and still receive an overwhelming amount of support makes me so happy. You all know I freaking love posting about good food, and I will never stop, but as you all can tell from my feed I don’t JUST post my meals anymore and it just feels right ☺️🤘🏽✨🌿

Jeonbokjuk 전복죽(Abalone porridge)🍵
My son broke his metal teeth spacer and it started making his gums super sore so today I made him abalone porridge. He was asking me if I could make it for him because I used to cook it for my kids when they kids were sick.🥴
Abalone is a highly prized shellfish. In Korea, female divers in Jeju Island 🏝collect abalone and other seafood for a living by diving deep into the ocean for several hours a day.
Abalone porridge is also known as the ”king of porridges” in Korea.
Finding fresh abalones is almost impossible where I live so I bought some frozen ones at the Asian grocery store.🥣👩🍳
* 3 cup short grain rice 🍚
* 5 medium size abalone
* Chopped Carrot🥕
* Chopped Onion
* 2 tablespoons sesame oil
* Korean soup soy sauce to taste
* sesame seeds and seaweed - optional garnish
아들이 교정을 시작했는데 임시 교정기 한쪽이 부러지는 바람에 잇몸이 아프다고 하네요. 아플때마다 전복죽을 끓여주곤 했더니 오늘도 아프니까 전복죽을 끓여달라고 그래요. 냉동시켜 파는 전복을 사둔게 있어서 전복죽을 끓였어요. 🍵
어릴때 제주도로 놀러갔다가 싱싱한 전복을 해녀아줌마가 주시는대로 먹았던 그 전복맛은 잊을수가 없어요. 그땐 귀한줄 모르고 먹었었는데...
*전복죽 끓일때 내장은 갈아서 체에 걸러 함께 끓여요. 저는 처음앤 깨끗이 박박씻고 시커먼 내장은 다 버렸었는데 내장이 들어가야 비로고 전복죽이라네요.
전복이빨이라고 하는 뾰족하고 딱딱한 뼈와 모래주머니만 버리고 휘리릭 갈아 체에 걸러거 쓰면 됩니다. 내장이 들어갔다고 전혀 쓰거나 비린맛안나요. 오히려 맛이 더 깊고 단맛이 나요. 😋 ...
