Growing up, I was surrounded by volunteering and charity acts a lot. Then, it reflected in my teenage and young adult’s life activities.
The amount of charity works I did were too prominent that when I started my small businesses, I found it hard to differentiate between doing charity or business.
Yeap, you guessed it right! I ended up doing more charity than business hence I never could scale my business up.
I thought it was okay until later on in life I learned that, if I was gonna stay at this level then I’ll just be impacting one small community at a time. “I needed to automate this work”, my mind contradicted my actions. “I must be smarter and tackle it through more enhanced means so that bigger and more communities will be impacted at the same time”. There’s nothing wrong with going slow and small, truly it is one’s preference. But with a dream like this, I cannot afford to go small. I must go big, my plans and actions must go proportionate with what I dream of achieving.
It was a leap of faith to be doing what I am doing now. Because when I stayed small, I was comfortable. I was okay with impacting a small community at a time manually and perhaps investing years with them before I could move on to another community. Not so time efficient, eh?
Through this effort I hope that poverty alleviation can be revolutionised and managed more effectively, worldwide. InshaAllah.
What about you? What’s your dream you are commissioning now? Are you enjoying the journey? Share wimmeeeee 😬

Let's talk about the living situation in Hong Kong: In this wealthy city, the poor are still living in wire cages! The United Nations calls the squalid conditions of cage homes “an insult to human dignity". The shocking thing about those tiny, inhuman cages is, that they are extremely expensive - they cost about 200$! When I gave money to some people living on the street, I realized, that those people have a job, wear tidy clothes and have a good education. But they just can't afford the rent! Can you imagine to work the whole day to then go back to a little spot on the street where you have to sleep? There are also dorms like in a hostel, but not for tourists, but for the people living in Hong Kong. They have to share one room with about 7 others. They have no privacy at all. It was absolutely shocking to learn about those horrible conditions! And it makes me angry. Cause Hong Kong is one of the wealthiest cities in Asia. This shows the corruption! The rich getting richer and richer cause of the capitalism, and the poor, living in cages or on the street! In what a world are we living? How can all the business people walk along the street, seeing those homeless people without having compassion? They just think about how they can even get more money, money that they don't need. Check out my storyhighlight "living in HK" to learn more about it. Be conscious of what's going on in the world.

France - nineteenth century - Dante got in trouble as a beggar: in a period of intense social conflicts, socialist movements took advantage of crises to foment the proletarian government for the abolition of the capitalist system by which the rural aristocracy was opposed. In time, Kardec launched the spiritism in the attempt of trying supernatural phenomena scientifically. Face to so much suffering, riots, and death; the spirits are disturbed. "Without charity, there is no salvation" - Kardec, 1962. Nevertheless, "Distrust the afflicted mercy for not manufacturing victims of the own mercy that is enjoyed for the popular ruin". Be careful! The enemy is among that which with tooth and nails defend you.
