(En) Grégory took this picture on his way back from the gym at 23:26, three days ago, at the metro station Świętokrzyska in Warsaw (Trad: Holy cross Station), the equivalent of Châtelet station in Paris. Do you realize that the metro maintenance agent is prettier than your college hottest girl ? Do you understand such a beauty level? Do you understand that you don't play the same game when you talk to a girl in Warsaw? Do you understand that when someone talks about the « French art of living », they BS you ? We take the opportunity to remind you the high level of safety (what would happen to a pretty maintenance agent alone at midnight in Châtelet? ), the high level of cleanliness that always surprises our trainees... and the smile! ...
Constantly looking to see what others are doing ? and question or even worse doubt yourself.
Or ask yourself "why have they got to that point before me" or "why haven't I achieved that yet"
Are you swayed by the latest 'buzz words' or 'latest route'? Or swayed by what others appear to be achieving?
When you look through Instagram and believe that it is the 'bar to reach'? When the loudest voices say 'do it my way' but panic because you aren't doing it that way
Have you even told yourself it's time to give up?
Even for a few moments - and look back at your business however big or small, however new or established.
You don't have to be the same as the 'others'
You don't have to achieve the same at the same time
You don't even have to fear you are doing it wrong (we all do that, it's how we learn)
You don't have to be going down the same route as everyone else
Because everyone of us is different and THANK THE LORD we are !
Go back to why you started your business, what your passion is, what keeps you going when you want to quit, what you have already achieved - that's what you should be looking at.
Yes, look at social media for inspiration, research or to coo over cats, shoes, llama's or whatever takes your fancy.
But leave it there - you really do not know what is happening in real life, behind those images & posts.
I have spoken to lots of people recently that are adding pressure to their own mental health by doing this.
By spending time on your own business, you will get there, you will achieve your own success, in your own time. It may be quick, it may take longer - we all have other responsibility's and life commitments differ too.
We all have a different journey. Interestingly on the days when I've thought "that's it" - something amazing has been just around the corner.
Yes, grow & evolve, learn & achieve, I'm a strong advocate for this, just make sure it's right for you.
I hear people say their business is 'their baby' - how odd would it be if they all looked the same! They don't and they shouldn't.
Focus on YOUR business, your core business, your why, enjoy it and do it well. You are doing it YOUR WAY! ...
