They say you can do anything one step at a time. I truly believe that. I am actually doing that every day 💪🏼
I am currently learning French day by day using @rosettastone 🇫🇷
I am also trying to become more conscious with my choices and that’s why I replaced my regular straws with metallic ones from @sand_cloud. Did you know that USA is using 500 million straws every day (enough straws to circle around the Earth 2.5 times). How scary is that?! 😳
You can make changes too. From replacing a simple plastic straw with a metallic one Or removing them completely you are making a big step towards a more plastic free environment. Plastic straws was the 11th most found ocean trash in 2017 😢

Parlez-vous français? 🇫🇷
I am getting better and better since I started using Rosetta Stone. What makes Rosetta Stone different for other apps is that you learn the actual language, not just words.
Whether you’re learning common social phrases, playing games, reading interesting stories or having real conversations with native-speakers tutors, Rosetta Stone really goes beyond the traditional way of learning a new language 👩🏻💻
Watch my stories for some BTS while using the app 😀

Rosetta Stone, 196 BC, granodiorite, 1123 mm × 757 mm × 284 mm, ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, Demotic script, and Greek script, British Museum, London.
The Rosetta Stone is a stone with writing carved into it, discovered by french soldiers in Egypt in 1799. It helped people get a better understanding of the Ancient Egyptian writing system called hieroglyphics. The text is a royal decree from the Hellenistic period about the taxes of temple priests. It gives them back the tax privileges they had earlier. Some scholars believe that several copies of the Rosetta Stone might exist, as this proclamation must have been made at many temples. ...

#timelineofhistory On July 15, 1799, French Captain Pierre Bouchard found the Rosetta Stone. This stone had 3 sections- one with Egyptian hieroglyphs, Egyptian demonic (what normal Egyptian writing was like- hieroglyphs were only used for religious or governmental texts), and Ancient Greek. Because Greek was known as a language, scholars were able to translate what hieroglyphs were saying, finally unlocking a way to translate Egyptian texts. #egypt#france#rosettastone#pierrebouchard ...
Let’s talk about (language) inspiration. 🎉🏅✨ 💥 What keeps you inspired to learn your target language? For me, it’s walking 🚶 the streets of Korea and knowing that I’m only seeing and experiencing a surface level of Korean life. 🇰🇷 I know that the more that I acquire Korean, the more of Korea that I’ll be able to unlock, which for such an interesting country, keeps me well motivated on this language learning journey! 🍜🍣🍢 ...
Good evening everyone,
I learned what I already knew today but this book really simplified it. The name of this book is in my highlight! Go check it out :)
💭What I learned:
• Past, present, and future tense
1. 오늘 저는 한국어를 공부했었어요
2. 처음 저는 춤을 췄었어요.
3. 저는 음악을 듣었었어요
>>Present: (all 3)
1. 나는 안 먹어요.
2. 나는 배가 고파요.
3. 저는 텔레비전을 봤습니다.
4. 저는 울고 있어요.
1. 내일 나 내 스케이트를 탈 거예요.
2. 나는 더 밥을 먹을 거예요.
This book simplified the tenses for me, which I was having a real problem with remembering and understanding. Now I am confident in making a correct korean sentence in past present and future tense. The only thing now is vocabulary. Once I learn more vocabulary the limit will not exist! ...
