The construction of the sanctuary, which began in 1981, is an on-going, never-ending task. I was told that it is scheduled to be completed in 2050. I was stunned at the fact that this place is entirely carved and made out of wood! The intricate details just blew me away! I love the design and how the natural light can illuminate and bring out the best of the sculptures! Check out my stories to see the workshop and how amazing Thai craftsmanship is all about!
Note: You have to wear a helmet while inside of this temple since it is still under construction. I removed it for a little bit to get this shot 😊
If you haven’t been to Thailand, I recommend that you visit this place. Pattaya is only 2 hours away from Bangkok.
