So excited!!! So my doctor says I can go home this evening!!! Thank the Lord! Getting one more round of I V antibiotics this afternoon which takes two hours to infuse then my Hawaiian vacation can begin!
You guys, my blinded eyes cannot wait to see the sunshine! LOL, bye see I mean feel! Spending four days inside the hospital dealing with lots of pain and not being able to see, smell, or feel the outside, it’s really getting to me. It’s so hard for me to actually believe I am in Hawaii, just knowing Hawaiian breezes are right on the other side of my hospital window is so exciting! Since I have missed out on basically a week of my vacation being sick and in the hospital, the next seven days we are going to live it up not wasting one moment!!! Granted, even though the worst of my infection has been treated with the I V antibiotics, I’m still going to be on high dose oral antibiotics, pain meds, and wearing a bandage on my face. Since we have made such great progress with the strong meds, we’re going to keep me on the affective regiment to ensure I continue moving in the right direction.
However, I am feeling so so so so much better than I did before, going to take it easy, but I am definitely going to enjoy what I can as much as I can with my husband and girls!
I just want to tell you all how much I love and appreciate everything you all have done for me. All of your comments, messages, well wishes, and powerful prayers, have truly encouraged me through the pain. even though I haven’t been able to respond to each one of you who have commented or message me over these past few days, just know that I have read your kind words, and those encouraging words have touched my heart more than you can imagine. ❤️😘 Photo description; this is a photo of me lying Half way reclined in my hospital bed getting ready for my last round of I V antibiotics. I am wearing my hospital gown, my hair is styled in long black natural waves, and I am looking peaceful. If you look closely you may be able to see my bandage on the left side of my chin/lip. Night and day difference from how I looked four days ago.
