I have failed countless times In my life, taken shots that have completely missed, been laughed at for attempting something out of my league, had others tell me that i could not do it. These failures is why I succeed ✌️

I finally earned my white coat!
(Long post warning)
Most schools host their white coat ceremony within the 1st year of med school; however, at DCOM, we have ours at the end of our 2nd year. The first 2 years of school are in the classroom studying for the most part. The last 2 years are spent in the hospital and in clinics on rotations throughout various medical specialties. So in a way, it's almost like celebrating getting through the most difficult 2 years of school before transitioning to rotations. (Almost like a mini pre-graduation.) Seriously thankful to God to have made it this far. ☝️🙏🙏 Next year, instead of going on rotations with my classmates I've decided to stay behind at LMU-DCOM (Harrogate location) to join the OMS Scholars Program (previously the OPP Fellowship) to help teach the OMS1 and OMS2 students, as well as to begin pursuing a master's degree for the next year before going on rotations. #mymedschooljourney#whitecoatceremony#whitecoated#futuredoctor#medstudent#onehalfadoctor ...
